Shipyards in the Dutch East Indies according to the annual account over 1863 dealing with the Dutch East Indies

According to this account were no important details known. Just in the accounts of some of the districts was something to be find back.
The yard at Dassoon (Rembang) continued with supplying many labourers a good means of livelihood.
The building of ships and dugout canoes at Japra was decreasing lacking the high prizes as ked by the government lumber auctions at Rembang and the forbidden cutting in the nearby forests.
At Billiton was the shipbuilding a booming business although they only build small schooners.
At Banka were small dug-out canoes build by Chinese and natives for the fishery.
At Koepang, Timor were good seagoing dug-out canoes build.
