Building new torpedo boats for the Royal British Navy according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1901-1902 no. 4

An item referred to the magazine Mittheilungen reporting that the first of the four British torpedo boats was launched at the shipyard of Thornycroft. The boats were to be named No. 98-99 and 107-108. They were to be armed with 2-4,7cm quick firing guns and 3 White launching devices. With a displacement of 42 tons were the dimensions 47,2 x 5,18 x 2,55 metres. The horsepower of 2.800 ihp should allow a speed of 25 miles.
