Olfert Fischer
Tordenskjold
An item reported that the budget for the Danish navy for 1901 estimated 68.1449 crones. Decided was to built a second coast defence battleship of the Herluf Trolle design(1), completion of the coast defence ship Herluf Trolle (2) and the torpedo vessel Beskytherer and the coast defence ship Tordenskjold (3), gunboat Goldborgsund and the steamship Dan[n]ebrog converted. The small Herluf Trolle of 3.470 ton performed her first trial achieving with 31.71 ihp a speed of 14,6 miles and with 4.400 ihp a speed of 15.05 miles.
