The British and French navies in the Mediterranean according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 8 January 1850

According to tidings from Constantinople dated 15 December 1849 published in newspapers of Paris was the British fleet still cruising off the Dardanelles. The French fleet was still at Vourla and should if necessary cooperate with the British. The rumours that the French fleet was called back was not still confirmed.
