Dutch bark Bezoeki transported troops to the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Leydse courant dated 29 August 1853

An item dated Rotterdam, Netherlands the 26th reported the arrival on the 25th of a detachment of 120 officers and soldiers which were immediately embarked on board of the newly built Dutch bark Bezoeki captain A. Schaap berthed along the Willemskade and bound for the Dutch East Indies. She was owned by A. van Hoboken en Zonen. The detachment travelled from Harderwijk, Netherlands via Amsterdam, Netherlands by train.
