British brig sloop HMS Fly and schooner Whitting underway from England towards France according to the Ducth newspaper Arnhemsche Courant dated Saturday 2 April 1814

An item dated London 25 March reported that on Monday the brig of war Fly (1) and the schooner Whittig (?) left Plymouth towards Bordeaux escorting a convoy of 40 transports with fresh troops and war stores for Lord Wellington.

1. A brig sloop of the Cruizer-class at the shipyard of Bailey, Ipwich, England on  16 February 1813 and finally sold at Bombay, British Indies on 10 May 1828.
