An item dated Berlin, Germany the 8th reported the explosion on board of the ammunition transport Saint Brieux lying on the roads of Bordeaux, France bound for Morocco. Her crew of 40 sailors was killed either wounded. It was expected that it was a result of a communistic attempt.
