American whaler Bartholomew Gosnold lying on 9th April at Hawaii according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 5 July 1859

A letter written by captain Clark on board of the Bartholomew Gosnold of New Bedford, USA on 9th April at Lahaina. Hawaii reported a catch of 140 barrels whale oil and 1.100 lbs bone catches off River Plata. They were now bound for sea Northwards. The bone was loaded on board of the Chapin bound for New Bedford.(1)
