Dutch East Indiaman Hollandse Tuin in 1683 in the Dutch East Indies

Lying in the roads of Batavia, Dutch East Indies. Qualified for service in calm waters like the Eastern provinces, Malacca, Siam, the west coast of Sumatra, Palembang en Jambij. Sending her back to the Netherlands could cause problems underway but if was decided to keep her in the Indies could she probably still serve 5-6 years. Keeling at Onrust was however a problem while she was described as a heavy ship. Measurement 600 last. (1)
