Austrian screw steam sloop Fasana departed Batavia, Dutch East Indies towards Australia according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 14 February 1894

An item dated Batavia, Dutch East Indies 13^th reported the departure of the Austrian steam warship Fasana captain Adamovic towards Melbourne, Australia.(1)

Sloop, laid down at the Navala Adriatico, Trieste, Italy on 9 October 1869, launched on 1 September 1870, completed on 5 May 1871, stricken on 7 August 1897, hulked, renamed Gamma as mine storage ship on 7 August 1902, final fate not clear probably broken up in 1920. Armament at the time she visited Batavia 4-15cm guns and 3-7cm guns.
