Austrian screw steam sloop Fasana departed Batavia, Dutch East Indies towards Australia according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 14 February 1894

An item dated Batavia, Dutch East Indies 13th reported the departure of the Austrian steam warship Fasana captain Adamovic towards Melbourne, Australia.(1)

1. Sloop, laid down at the Navala Adriatico, Trieste, Italy on 9 October 1869, launched on 1 September 1870, completed on 5 May 1871, stricken on 7 August 1897, hulked, renamed Gamma as mine storage ship on 7 August 1902, final fate not clear probably broken up in 1920. Armament at the time she visited Batavia 4-15cm guns and 3-7cm guns.
