An item dated Berlin, Germany 23rd reported that German submarines destroyed on the 4th the Norwegian steamship Solbraken with 3.470 ton grain underway from Buenos Aires, Argentine towards Cherbourg, France and on the 6th the Norwegian steamship Ellavora loaded with wine and fruit underway from Naples, Italy towards London, England and the Norwegian steamship Havjard underway with groundnuts towards Dunkirk, France.
