British 5th rate Melampus supported by hired cutters captured nine gunboats according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haarlemse courant dated 28 February 1805

An item reported that the British frigate Melampus (1) and some hired cutters captured off Saintes nine French gunboats part of a squadron of 25 units taken them to Falmouth, England and Plymouth, England.
