An item referred to the magazine Revista Marittime dated January 1936 reported that the personnel strength of the British Royal Navy numbered 101.795 men divided over England (94.482), Australia (4.053), Canada (896), New Zealand (902), South Africa (220) and the Royal Indian navy (1.242).
