Another dry dock constructed at Lorient, France according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens dated 1913 No. 3

An item reported that the firm Hersent was ordered to complete the construction of dry dock No. 3 at Lorient, France within 42 months. Building costs 5 million francs, the first term of 1,5 million to be paid in 1913. The original designed length was 200 metres nut now enlarged to 250 metres just like the docks at Lannion and Brest would be. The result of this enlargement was that the already built officers and workshops of the shipbuilding department were to be demolished and rebuilt.
