Dutch tug Frans delivered by shipyard to owner according to the Dutch magazine Dutch magazine Schip en Werf dated 2 January 1931

An item reported that after a successful trial the Dutch company Machinefabriek L. Straatman, Dordrecht, Netherlands delivered the tug Frans to F.J. Heylaerts. Dimensions 20 x 4,70 x 2,25 metres. Machinery consisted of 1-175 ihp vertical triple expansion steam engine and a boiler with a pressure of 15kilo/square centimetres and a heating surface of 61 square metres.
