Indonesia negotiating with Yugoslavia and Japan for purchasing patrol vessels in 1960

A letter dated The Hague, Netherlands 15 February 1960 was sent by the commanding officer of the intelligence service of the Royal Netherlands Navy to the intelligence officer in Netherlands New Guinea and the liaison officer at Singapore informing them about the latest developments. There were clues that Indonesia was negotiating with Yugoslavia and Japan for acquiring patrol vessels. Remarkable was that the vessels were to be fitted out with 2-1.500 hp engines.
