Polish minesweeper Mewa commissioned according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1935 no. 7

An item referred to the magazine le Yacht dated 23 November 1935 reporting that the first warship built at Gdynia, Poland namely the minelayer Mewa was commissioned on 1 November 1935.(1)

1. Jaskólka-class minesweepers. Laid down by Stocznia Gdynska, Gdynia, Poland in 1933, launched on 10 January 1935, commissioned on 25 October 1935, damaged during an German air attack on 1 September 1939 and sunk during a second air attack on 3 September 1939, refloated by German forces, after the Second World War again commissioned in the Polish navy, auxilary vessel since 1970 and broken up in 1981.
