The tugs of the Polish Central Administration of the Inland Waterways according to a CIA report dated 21 October 1955

An item reported that the Polish Central Administration of the Inland Waterways resorted under the Polish Ministry of Shipping. There were branch offices at Wroclaw (former Breslau), Szczecin (former Stettin), Bydgoszcz, Gdank (former Danzig), Warsaw and Krakow. Complained was that a very poor grade of coal was used with disappointing results and so dissatisfying the tug crews. The crews numbered 16 men for a large Dutch type tug, 11 for a small Dutch type and 8 men for the diesel motor tugs.
