An item reported that rear admiral D. Loncarevic (1) commanded since 1 March 1948 the new founded Headquarters of the Naval Volunteers which was responsible for the marine workshops at Solici. In the meantime came 150 military pontoons available supplied by the UNRRA to Yugoslavia although for civilian purposes and owned by the GDTM until recently. The pontoons were however converted for landing purposes and divided over the several Yugoslavian naval harbours as follows: Spit 30, Sibenik 18, Zara 40, Dubrovnik 12, Pola 20, Fiume 10 and finally Boka-Kotorska 20. Between end December 1947-end March 1948 arrived via Romania several transports naval armament material to be used.

Note
1. Similar to Duro Loncarevic (Gusinje 16 April 1920- Beograd 1 April 1987), who also was political commissary of the Yugoslavian navy?
