Dutch government tug Lineke launched at Foxhol, Netherlands according to the Dutch magazine Schip en Werf dated11 November 1949

An item reported the launching on 26 October by N.V. Scheepsbouwbedrijf voorheen Th.J. Fikkers, Foxhol/Groningen, Netherlands of the Dutch tug Lineke with yard number 76 built for account of the Ministerie van Overzeese Gebiedsdelen and to be used by the harbour Board of Batavia, Dutch East Indies. Sister ship Carla. Dimensions 25,40 (over all) x 6 (over thrushes) x 2,80 (hold below deck) metres. Fitted out with 300hp S.L.M. engines, Christened by Mrs. MacNeill.
