The Soviet Gomel shipyard according to a CIA report dated September 1967

An item reported the fenced and rail served Soviet Gomel shipyard with as geographic coordinates 52.26.20 north and 31.01.20 located east at the east central border of Gomel [Belarus] on the west bank of the Sozh seemed to be used for repairs although newbuilding seemed to be possible. The shipyard possessed a side-haul marine railway with 4 transverse slipways, 2 quays, 2 fabrication, 2 shop and 13 support buildings.
