Turkish training ship TCG Cezayirli Hasan Paşa (A579) 1993-

Ex-German Elbe (A61) of the Rhein-class replenishment ships. Launched by Schlieker Werft, Hamburg, Germany on 5 May 1960, commissioned on 17 April 1962, decommissioned on 17 December 1992 and handed over Turkey to replace her sister ship Ruhr (A64) as the TCG Cezayirli Hasan Paşa. Displacement 2.330-2.930 (full load) tons and as dimensions 92,80 (between perpendiculars)-98,80 x 11,80 x 3,95 metres. Horsepower 11.400 bhp. Speed 20-22 (trial) knots). Range 2.500 nautical miles with 16 knots and 334 tons fuel bunker capacity. Armament consists of 2x1-10cm 65 cal Creusot-Loire Model 1953 dual purpose guns, 2-4cm 70 cal Bofors anti aircraft guns and 2 mine rails for maximum 70 mines. Crew numbers 98 men with accommodation for 40 officers and 170 enlisted.
