Norway fitting out just one whaling expedition in 1967-1968 season according to the Commercial Fisheries Review dated November 1967 No. 11

An item reported that Norway fitted out just one expedition in the 1967-1968 whaling season whare her share in the international whaling quota was reduced. The past 2 seasons were the Norwegians supported by 5 Japanese catchers. The agreement with the Japanese company included exporting the whale meat to Japan. The agreement was however this season cancelled partly due to oversupplying the Japanesemarket. The whale meat of the Kosmos IV was now sold to European buyers.
