Anonymous Dutch shipyard ordered to built German steam collier according to the Dutch newspaper Vlissingse Courant dated 1 March 1909

An item reported that the German firm Bernardt Binnenfeldt ordered an anonymous Dutch shipyard to built a steam collier of 5.000 ton. She was to be fitted out with a loading- and discharging installation with a capacity of 500 ton coal in a hour. Further more was a wireless telegraph to be installed allowing an use as bunker ship for warships at sea during wartime.
