British destroyer HMS Landrail handed over to the navy according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens dated 1914 No. 7

An item reported that the British destroyer HMS Landrail the fourth destroyer built under the 1912-1913 Program was on 10 June handed over to the Admiralty. Built by Yarrow&Co. Ltd., Glasgow, Scotland had as dimensions 79 x 8,4 metres. The 3 Yarrow water tube boilers were of the latest type fitted out with a super heater and a pre heater with an considerable reduction in fuel consumption as result.(1)

1. Of the Laforey- or L-class, preceded by Acasta-class, succeeded by Admiralty M-class, laid down on 24 July 1912, launched on 7 February 1914, completed in June 1914 and sold on 1 December 1921 to be broken up.
