British whaling ship Active visited Honolulu, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 6 June 1840

An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 22 May of the British whaling ship Active captain Brooks of London, England 21 months out 1.200 barrels oil.
