French whale ship Muse visited Hanalei, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 12 October 1844

An item reported the arrival at Hanalei (Kauai), Hawaii on 6 September of the French whale ship Muse from Le Havre 22 months out 2.400 barrels fully loaded and homeward bound.
