British proposals at the Geneva Disarmament Conference according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwsblad van het Noorden dated 24 February 1932

An item dated Geneva, Switzerland 23rd reported that the British delegation proposed among other things to abolish submarines, protection against air attacks and to investigate the most suitable methods to decrease the naval and army guns.(1)

The must be the World Disarmament Conference also called Geneva Disarmament Conference or the Conference for the Reduction and Limitations of Armaments 1932-1934 as a effort of the League of Nations to prevent a arms race and even an increase of the armed forces. The withdrawal of Germany from the Conference in October 1933 in fact ended of the effort.
