French cruiser Emile Bertin used as flagship at Brest, France, according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1935 no. 6

An item referred to the magazine Le Yacht dated 10 August 1935 reporting that the French mine laying cruiser Emile Bertin was to be the flagship of the at Brest, France stationed light forces.(1)

1. Light cruiser, laid down by Chantiers de la Penhoƫt, Saint Nazaire, France on 18 August 1931, launched on 9 May 1933, commissioned 28 January 1935, stricken on 27 October 1959 and broken up in October 1961.
