Merchant shipping activities at Braila, Romania stopped according to a CIA report dated 20 August 1947

An item reported that Braila, Romania became an non-commercial town while the warehouses upstream from the basis were used to accommodate Soviet military and the movements restricted by using a large number of Soviet sentries.
