American merchant ship Manila sunk by German raider Seeadler in 1917

An item reported that the American merchant schooner Manila, gross tonnage 731 tons, was captured by the German raider Seeadler in the Pacific Ocean on the position 6.30 North 148.30 West on 8 July 9117, blown up with dynamite without casualties.
