American battleship USS South Carolina sent to Haiti according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Tilburgsche Courant dated 9 March 1914

An item dated Washington, USA 7th reported that at Haiti again riots broke out and the American battleship South Carolina was again sent to Port-au-Prince for protection of the foreigners there.(1)
