Part of Kaiser-class preceded by Helgoland succeeded by König-class, laid down under contract name “Ersatz Odin” by Germaniawerft, Kiel, Germany in October 1910, launched on 17 February 1912, commissioned on 19 August 1913, scuttled at Gutter Sound, Scapa Flow on 21 June 1919, raised in 1931 and broken up in 1933.
