German Greenland whalers returned home according to the Dutch newspaper Amsterdamse courant dated 22 August 1705

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 21 August reported that Bremen, Germany 4 Greenland whalers with 21 whales arrived, at Hoesem one with 5 whales and at October Jan Klaesz with 1 whale. The Bremen whalers brought with them a list of 37 Dutch whalers with totally 40 whales, 15 Bremen whalers totally 151 (icluding those of the 4 arrived) and that the Dorothea 5-6 and ’t Hamburger Wapen 5 whales, both of Hamburg, Germany.
