Sale of 1/32 part in the Dutch Greenland whaler Rust van ‘t Vaderland in 1756

Sale on 13 March 1756 of 1/32 part in the Dutch ship Rust van ‘t Vaderland on an auction in the Otter, Westzaandam by ship brokers Jacob Last, Jacob van Santen, Pieter Last and Maarten Nomen to be paid within 8 days in cash to the guardians of the minor children of the late Meyndert Arentsz Bloem. Rented by Claas Gijzen for ƒ 3,700 and 12 nickels each quardeel oil. Commandeur Dirk Daalder. Fluytship in 1770 built and as dimensions 115 2/11 x 30 2/11 x 13 feet.

Dirk Daalder was Greebland commandeur between 1739-1757 for Jacob Last, Zaandam, catch results in 1756 3 whales 53 barrels blubber 73 quardelen oil.
