American battleship USS Wyoming underway towards Cuba according to the Dutch newspaper Provinciale Overijsselsche en Zwolsche courant dated 10 November 1933

An item dated Tampa, Florida, USA 10th reported the departure of the American battleship USS Wyoming towards Havana, Cuba.(1,2)

1. BB-32. Part of the Wyoming-class battleships, preceded by Florida-class, succeeded by New York-class, launched with yard number 365 by William Cramp&Sons, Philadelphia, USA on 25 May 1911, commissioned on 25 September 1913, decommissioned on 1 August 1946, sold to be broken up on 30 October 1947 and stricken on 16 December 1947

2. Probably the coup d’etat which became known as the Cuban Revolution of Sergeant's Revolt by army sergeants and enlisted men o 4-5 September 1933 resulting in the One Hundred Days Government caused this departure.
