Austro-Hungarian battleship Viribus Unitis launched according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 3 April 1911

An item reported that the new 20.000 Austro-Hungarian battleship to be launched on 24 June would be named Viribus Unitis.(1)

1. Part of Tegethoff-class preceded by Radetzky-class succeeded by Ersatz Monarch-class. Ordered in 1908, laid down by Stabilimento Tecnico Triestino, Trieste [nowadays Italy] on 24 July 1910, launched on 24 June 1911, commissioned on 5 December 1912, handed over to the State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs on 31 October 1918, renamed Jugoslavija and sunk at Pola [nowadays Pula, Croatia] by an Italian manned torpedo on 1 November 1918.
