German battleship SMS Kaiser performed well during trials according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 14 September 1912

An item reported that the new German battleship Kaiser fitted out with steam turbines achieved during her trials a speed of 23,6 miles.(1)

Note

1. Part of Kaiser-class preceded by Helgoland-class succeeded by König-class. Ordered as Ersatz Hildebrand, laid down by Kaiserliche Werft, Kiel, Germnay in December 1909, launched on 22 March 1911, commissioned on 1 August 1912, scuttled at Scapa Flow on 21 June 1919, salvaged in 1929 and broken up at Rosyth in 1930.
