Hardly possible to (un)load ships at Rangoon, Burma according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 6 January 1942

An item referred to the State Department reporting that the situation in the harbour of Rangoon, Burma was still chaotic caused py panic among the people after the air attacks. Less than 50% of the normal number of stevedores were working. The three American ships lying in the harbour were just slowly unloaded even with the support of volunteers and military.
