Axis transports arriving safely at Tripoli, Italian Libya according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 8 January 1942

An item reported that nine large merchant ships protected by Italian destroyers arrived at Tripoli, Italian Libya on the morning of 5 January. The J.I.C. commented that the Axis forces in Libya were rapidly strenghtening their positions.
