British cargo ship (ex-War Orange 1919, Backworth 1919-1939) Ogmore Castle 1993-1947 (Bokkeveld 1947-1951, Roodewal 1951-1961)

Similar Lyminge and Ogmore Castle. Call sign GCBZ. Launched by Dunlop, Bremner&Co. Ld., Inch Yard, Port Glasgow, Scotland with yard number 335 on 16 June 1919, completed in August 1919, registered at Cape Town, South Africa since 1946, at Durban since 1956 and abandoned when a fire broke ot on 23 September 1961 and broken up >1962-1963<. Gross tonnage 2,481 ton, under deck 2,240 tons, net tonnage 1,442 ton and as dimensions 302.9 x 42.9 x 20.7 feet.
