Launched by Built by Lithgows Ld., Dock Yard, Port Glasgow, Scotland with yard number 826 on 26 June 1929, completed in September 1929, converted in 1940 into a Water Distilling Ship stationed at Freetown, Sierra Leone and in the North African-Sicily invasions, sold to Japan in 1951 and broken up at Innoshima 30 October 1962. Gross tonnage 4,434 ton, under deck 4,197 tons, net tonnage 2,761 ton and as dimensions 385.0 x 53.5 x 25.2 feet. Coal-fuelled.
