Identical to the Woosung II captured by Japanese in 1942 and sunk as Reizen Maru after hitting a mine in the Yangtse River on 18 January 1945. Owner Chin. Nav. Co. Ld., Hong Kong. Gross tonnage 3,246 ton, under deck 2,740 tons, net tonnage 2,119 ton, deadweight 1,900 ton and as dimensions 320.0 x 462. x 22.3 x x 20 (loaded estimated) metres. Two screws. Coal fuelled reciprocating propulsion. Speed 12 (normal cruising)-14 (maximum) knots.
