Part of B-class destroyers preceded by HMS Ambuscade and Amazon succeeded by C- and D-classes. Laid down by Vickers Armstrong, Barrow-in-Furness, England on 1 October 1929, launched on10 July 1930, commissioned on 20 March 1931 and sunk in a German air attack during the Dunkirk evacuation on 1 June 1940.
