In a report dated 12 January 1938 of the in 1937 sighted vessels of the Russian Baltic Fleet was reported that the battleships during the winterperiod ending begin May were lying at Kronstadt. The Marat was on 4 May for the first time moving and the Oktjabrskaja Rewoluzija on 8 May. The third battleship the former Poltawa was still lying berthed alongside the Baltic Shipyard in the same condition as in 1936.
