Russian merchant ships underway from Vladivostok to the USA according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 3 January 1942


An item reported that around 12 Russian merchant ships left Vladivostok in the past few weeks bound for the USA. The J.I.C. commented that probably was feared for a Japanese surprise attack and that ships search for a safe harbour.
