Dutch 4th charter Alkmaar, also called Wapen van Alkmaar 1666-1693

Of the admiralty Noorderkwartier, built at Enkhuizen, Netherlands in 1666, last mentioned in 1693, dimensions 140 (prow) x 37 x 14 x7'¾" feet and an armament of 62 guns and a crew numbering 186-250 sailors excluded soldiers. In June 1671 captain Jan Croock part of squadron De Ruyter cruising between the Maas and Oostende, 7 June 1672 at battle of Solebay, spring 1673 captain Jan Croock, 7 and 14 June at the battles of Schooneveld and 21 August at Kijkduin, in 1690 captain Jan Kalf part of squadron vice admiral Gerard Callenburgh in Dutch-British fleet preparing an invasion on French coast, 10 July battle at Beachy Head against the French.
