Requisitioned by the Japanese Imperial Navy on 11 December 1940, registered as start conversion as a harbor affair vessel om 16 December 1940 (fitted out with 2-8cm.40 HA Type 3 deck guns, 2-1,3cm Type 93 machine guns, 1-90cm searchlight and 1-2,5m rangefinder), rerated as auxiliary transport on 10 March 1942 and torpedoed by the American submarine USS Balao (SS-285) and sunk 225 miles north north east of Shanghai, China on 19 March 1945.
