German battleship Wilhelm II refloated according to the Dutch newspaper De Sumatra Post dated 9 December 1911

An item dated Kiel, Germany 8th reported that the German battleship Wilhelm II stranded in the Flensburg Firth [border Germany-Denmark] was refloated.(1)

1. Part of Kaiser Friedrich III-class preceded by Brandenburg-class succeeded by Wittelsbach-class, approved under 1896-1897 Budget, laid down with contract name “Ersatz Friedrich der Grosse”by Kaiserliche Werft Wilhelmshaven with yard number 24 on 26 October 1895, launched on 14 September 1897, commissioned on 13 February 1900, stricken on 17 March 1921 and broken up in 1922.
