Fitted out with a helicopter landing deck. With a displacement of 69,360 long tons are her dimensions 894’ x 105’7” x 33‘. The two boilers and two turbines supplied 24,500shp allowing a speed of 17,5 knots. Depending on the reduced or operating status are on board 12 civilians and 58 military or 61 civilians and 1,214 military. It takes 5 days to turn to full operating status.
